Welcome to the colorful world of Gege Zhang. She was born in Nanjing, China but grew up in good old southern town of Little Rock, Arkansas. Nowadays she's an artist and graphic designer based out of Riverside, CA. Gege recently graduated from University of Arkansas at Little Rock with Bachelor of Arts in Studio Art with a minor in Digital Graphics in 2019.
As a stunning colorist who uses bright, contrasting complementary colors, she works primarily digitally or with acrylic and oil paint. Gege's emotions are embodied with her fusion of realism and abstraction. Her remarkable versatility showcases her understanding of her subjects and takes us on hypnotizing visual journeys. Not limited to just fine art and design, she also has started experimenting with fiber art.
